How do I fix a resin drip?

This question came from Susan by email:

I have recently started to work with resin. I love the look of my piece on the front but its the back that troubles me. I am working with belt buckle blanks. Sometimes, the resin runs over the edge and creates a "drip." I try to level the product to the best of my ability. I try to limit the amount of resin that I use. I have increased my wait time between stirring the resin and applying it to the buckle blank. I periodically wipe the bottom of the buckle while it is on the drying rack....

What do you do when you get a "drip"? Please help!

Susan, Try putting tape around the edge to build a "wall". Tape pulls right off cured resin.
