I am interested in making my very first epoxy resin casts. I’m looking to make a tag for my dog. Looking for best way to inbed my dogs name and info in the resin, as you would a sticker or other items. wondering if I used a cricut machine to print on vinyl paper if the resin would warp or melt the vinyl in any way. on etsy, there is seller that makes custom dog tags from resin casts. she is under the name gabriellas creations. I’m looking for any info to help me do what she does. please check her out and help me to do this for myself!

Hi Kristy Ann,

I would not expect the resin to warp the vinyl. Do cut outs look different when they get wet? If so, you will need to seal the papers before including them in resin so they don’t take up ‘water’ stains.
