Work on perfecting my mixing ratios (I get rubbery resin! – UGH!) and making 42 pairs of Mickey Mouse Ear Earrings as gifts for our first ever Disney Cruise in November! YIKES!

My goal is to make a few resin scrabble tile pendants. I’ve always loved them and wanted to try making some. I have put off using the resin (for fear of messing them up) but found this site recently and am now excited again and ready to try this and many other cool resin projects I’ve found on Resin Obsession.

My goal is to get better/over-imaginative at designing my resin jewelry. To date, I’ve only used stickers with a glitter background. I have several projects to try, hopefully soon. I bought a coaster mold and my daughter is going to cast some of her 100s of seashells in coasters for family friends. I want to make some jewelry with other inclusions. And I bought a large sphere mold and want to try making something like a suncatcher with some resin (not sure, just thinking out loud). Oh the possibilities!!!!

My goal is to get all my resin craft items organized and to get them off my dining room table! It started with some resin, now there are molds, jewelry findings, tools, dried flowers, pictures, glitter, and anything else that I think would look good in resin.

New at using resin, so my goal is to get better at it so I can make some Christmas gifts this year.

My goal is to break outside of my comfort zone and begin adding funkiness to my designs. Experimenting with different colors and adding glitter into the background of my pendants are two goal-points high up on the list!

I’d like to try casting a vase-like piece. I have some very pretty pressed maple leaves; I thought a vase made with these leaves would look really pretty with one of those battery operated light strands tucked inside.

I found beautiful photos of my grandmother and great-aunt when they were elegant young girls and so a goal of mine this year is to make old family photo pendants in pretty frames and add one or two tiny charms in with the resin. It would be a wonderful memento. If it works out well I can make more for gifts.

I need to try different types of molds besides little cabochon molds.

I really want to try for much better bangles. I’m hoping your recent efforts will get me over the hump. I don’t like doing all that sanding!

I have been trying to pour resin into more flat pieces. …so difficult. But otherwise I do need to organize!

I would like to be more organized. I find myself hustling to keep up with orders order etsy and get products ready for the next season. I’ve been doing back to school molds and running out of time in order to get the embellished bows for Sakhalin etsy. It’s so frustrating!

Have been wanting to make a paperweight type casting with hair from my Grandson’s first haircut inside. I’ve been putting it off for over 7 years…Yikes!

I actually have two goals:
1- learn more patience with resin. I tend to get impatient and then make frustrating mistakes that either take a lot of time to fix or cannot be fixed at all.
2- I want to learn how to make resin spheres!

My neice turns fifty next Christmas.
Between now and then I have to produce 70 odd, double sided photo invites, (That double for name tags) .
Also several “Gold Medal” type awards.
I just hope my first batch of resin arrives in time for me to learn something about it……

Hi…im Frank and this is my first comment every on Resin Obession….. I must say I love working with Resin. Well earlier I started a project I thought was out of my league….low and behold I created a solid maple tree trunk table top finished with resin. To my belief this this tree trunk top turned out beautifully…… I also added glow in the dark powder pegmint which gave it such a show come night time…..well my goals is to finish off these tables with the perfect truck, I can’t wait to see them completed…..

What I would like to do with my resin is to make a mold that I can put a picture in and be able to use it on my fathers grave stone. I want to be able to make them for people also!
