Hello, I am trying to find suggestions on what to use to make something similar to a skull in a bowling ball. It is going to be a piece of quartz instead of a skull and it is just for decoration no bowling. I know bowling balls are made from reactive resin which from what I read is a form of urethane resin. SO to my questions there a clear polyurethane resin that I could pour the entire ball at once or is it something that must be done in layers as epoxy resin does?

Hi Art, I haven’t used a clear polyurethane for this large of a project, so I can’t make a recommendation. I would suggest contacting the team at alumilite.com. They sell clear polyurethane resins and should be able to help you with your project. Please let them know Resin Obsession referred you. 🙂
