I am wanting to get a stained glass effect on the insert panels of my newly painted kitchen cupboards. I want to use window film on my panel inserts and then top with epoxy resin to get the hardened glass finish. Has anyone done this and if so have you had any issues? My cupboards are painted with Sherwin William emerald paint. Also, anyone know how long I should wait for the paint to cure before applying the epoxy resin to the panels? Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.
      Regards,
      Linda

      Hi Linda,

I haven’t tried this, but I worry if whether or not the heat of the epoxy will melt the window film.

You will definitely want to wait until the paint is fully dry before using the epoxy.
