I’m making my own illuminated emblems for my truck out of alumilite crystal clear epoxy. I’m trying to figure out what is the best thing to use to put a chrome finish on the back side to help reflect the LEDs and so when it’s not illuminated it still looks semi normal and not just the paint of the truck showing through the clear epoxy.

You can use Mylar “mirror” plastic sheets as backing. Just be sure it is applied perfectly smooth or you will have air bubbles showing up.
The mylar has adhesive on the non-mirrored back.
