I tried making a cuff bracelet out of one of the bangle bracelet molds by blocking 1 1/2″ of the circle. I removed it from the mold while still a little soft and put it on an oval form to finish curing. Hard curing resin bracelet broke when I tried to put it on, softer curing resin deformed while I was wearing it. Do you have a suggestion about which resin might work better for this project? An actual cuff bracelet mold would probably work better, but I haven’t seen any cuff molds. I thought of getting a cuff bracelet and making a mold, but can’t find one in the width I wanted (1/2″ to 3/4″) Need a larger size, for a fat wrist, which was also why I tried using the bangle mold.

      Hi Rhonda,

Unfortunately, what you are describing is what I would expect with a project like this. In my opinion, resin isn’t a good choice for cuff bracelet projects.
