I’m brand new to resin casting. I’m wanting to make a mold to cast a hollow cylinder with an inside diameter in 0.5 inches and outside diameter of 1.25 inches and around 6 inches long. I’m considering either amazing mold 3 or using pvc pipes and spacing them accordingly. Any advice on the best way to cast this? I would want the mold to be reusable. Thank you in advance.

Hi Tyler,

The best way to do this is to make a mold of a pipe with the outer diameter of 1.25” and inner diameter of 0.5”. Do you have a pipe like that?

I’d try Home Depot or Lowes stores for pvc pipe. I have seen the 0.5″, not sure about 1.25″. Would 1.5″ do?
