Hi I’m thinking of doing it with my mum’s dogs hair.. beucase I regret not keeping some of Pepsi’s my dog growing up and I LOVE mum’s dog like a best friend.. sounds strange I know..

Can I just poor resin in any resin mold and put the hair in and it be sealed ?

I’m not too fussy in making sure it looks perfect etc… I’m just wanting to have a go and see what happens but being able to keep his hair forever locked and sealed in resin..

If I wanted to make a name to go in with paper in card making things do I need to protect the paper so ink etc don’t run?

I know it sounds strange and weird.. but it’s just aan idea I came up with. Then came across this site and so thought I’d ask ..

      I hope it’s ok

I have loads of questions and the instructions I had with some resin didn’t tell me things it probably should…

Where can I ask newby questions.. or is there a file on all the must knows etc..?

Sorry to ask only just come across this page..

      Thank you

      Hi Kayleigh,

Welcome to the world of resin!

This article should help you get started with using pet hair in resin: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-tutorials/how-to-make-pet-hair-beads It’s not exactly what you want to do, but the concepts are the same.

You are welcome to ask your questions here in the forum. Since it sounds like you are a beginner, these articles should help you as well: https://www.resinobsession.com/tag/beginner
