Hi,
This is the first time I’m attempting to work with resin. As a gift for a friend I’m trying to embed polaroids into the rectangular resin tray. But as it turns out it’s really hard to find a large silicon tray mold(nearing 12 inches) for it.
My questions:
1. Can I use silicone baking tray as a mold?
2. Can I use silicon sheets? But how would I create boundaries to hold the liquid resin if I do so?

Hi Chhavi,

Yes, you can use a silicone baking tray as a mold. As you’ve discovered, sheets don’t work well since you don’t have a way to contain the resin.
