Hi, I have just done my first painting with resin and not to sure what I am doing. We got a canvas from ‘the works’ about £4. We poured the resin on the canvas and tried to do 3 different shades of blue. Our colours are transparent so only a hint of colour. We used a heat gun to move the resin round. We have noticed that the edges and the sides look like they are wet under the resin. We also have black dots appeared on the canvas.

How frustrating! It sounds like your canvas may have taken up moisture from the resin. Did you prep the surface first?
