Hi! I’m trying to cast dried roses in resin and I did a test yesterday because it’s my first time doing this. A problem I’m encountering is that, since my rose is upside down, there was some air trapped in between the petals. Is there a way to avoid this?

      Thank you!

      Hi Fey,

You might do better by dipping the rose in resin, then allowing it to cure upright. This will seal bubbles out. Then, use the rose in your casting.

I am a first timer trying to get into making resin projects for gift giving. I would like to make a paper weight or coasters from flowers that I have dried from my son’s wedding. I would love recommendations on which resin to use. I can only mess it up a few times as I have limited flowers from the wedding. I am so confused which resin kit to order. Also should I purchase a release spray for molds? Any help appreciated.
