If I am filling a mold and do not have enough resin, I would like to add more. So the original resin is clear and so is the second layer. What is the window for when I should do this? (while the first layer is still wet? while it is in its 48 hour drying period? after the first layer has dried?)

Hi Tricia,

You can add the second layer anytime you want, but if you add the second layer while the first layer is in the gel phase, it will minimize the lines between layers.
