I am also a resin newbie. I am interested in making the European beads and was wondering how much mica pigment it takes to color a small batch of resin.

Hi Michelle,

I start with 1/8 of teaspoon per 3/4 ounce of resin. I might add more if it’s a light color and less if a dark color.

Thank you! Can resin be mixed in small plastic squirt bottles?

Are you using the squirt bottles for application? If so, mix the resin first, then put in the bottles. But, you may not be able to clean the bottles afterwards. i.e. You may be only able to use them one time.
