      Hello!
I do clear resin pours into silicone molds.
      Art Resin (epoxy)
I use Castin Craft mold release which sprays the release like a spray of rain (big and fine drops)
I place my mold in front of a fan to dry it fast

after resin cures – I pull out the piece and there are tiny water marks for sure Brought on by the mold release
it looks like subtle raindrops dried on a car window.

Has anyone encountered this is and switched to something better? are their any other techniques to have that mold release but like doesn’t leave tiny droplet marks?
any difference – if I switched to a polyester resin?
I’m just dreaming of a perfect surface and pieces that pop out of the mold with ease

      thank you for any tips

      Hi Elizabeth,

I like this mold release: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/petrolease-non-silicone-food-grade-mold-release It’s my go-to release for plastic and silicone molds.
