I have my resin stored for at least 6 or 9 months. I know it can expire. If I plan on coloring my resin (so clarity is not an issue) is it still usable?

      Thank You

I HAVE USED RESIN THAT WAS OVER A YEAR OLD. IT CURED FINE, BUT A LITTLE YELLOW, WHICH WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR MY PROJECT. YELLOWING MIGHT AFFECT THE COLORS YOU ARE USING.

As long as it has been properly stored, it should cure fine. Make sure it is still clear. A little yellowing may have occurred, but if you are coloring it, that likely won’t be noticeable.

i’ve used old resin with mixed results. one kind refused to cure after a year (though i had issues with it curing when it wasn’t as old, either) and another (ice resin) was nearly two years old and had yellowed but otherwise cured just fine. i’d recommend trying yours on a smaller project that you won’t care if it turns out or not.
