Hey everyone, I just demolded my first few casts and they all are tacky on the side that was not in contact with the mold. I am using Easy Cast with the instructed 1:1 mixture. This resin is also somewhat rubbery post-cure as well. Is this normal with this resin or could it be humidity. Note, I also placed these into a heated container to force-cure the resin…its a technique that the Navy uses to force cure 2-part epoxy when repairing circuit boards.

EasyCast resin, even when fully cured, can be soft and flexible, but should not be sticky. The most likely explanation is that the resin wasn’t mixed well enough before casting.
