Hi! I’ve never done anything with resin but I’m hoping it will be helpful in solving a problem I have. There’s this dead lizard that I picked up out of a parking lot – it was already pretty desiccated when I got it, and then I left it in the hot sun for a couple of weeks until it was super crispy and hard. Now it’s just been sitting in my kitchen for a month because I just don’t really know what to do with it from here, and I thought resin might be a good option for preserving it in a not-gross way – but I can’t really find any info about people putting dried reptiles into resin. Has anybody ever done this, or is it a terrible idea?

Thank you so much in advance for any help!

      Hi Summer,

You will need to preserve the lizard before including it in resin. Here’s a couple of other forum posts to give you ideas:
