  I have a plaster mold of an arm with hand. Do you know if I can set that in resin to preserve it and keep it from breaking? Resin will stay clear, right?

  I don’t have any experience with this. My concern is that since plaster-of-paris dissolves in water, it may dissolve in resin as well. My best suggestion would be to find a spray sealant for the plaster of paris (unfortunately, I don’t have a suggestion), then once it is sealed, cast it in resin.
