Hi, I’m a first time caster. I’m looking to embed a broken lightbulb into a 4″ sphere, clear paperweight. I have a mold picked out that breaks into two halves. I’m planning on embedding the bulb part near the bottom, and then broken glass throughout with several pours.

Does anyone have suggestions for type/brand of epoxy resin to use for a deep cast?

Also, will I run into trouble/headaches if I try to do multiple pours, like 8-10 over the course of 4″ diameter/height?

      Thanks!

      Hi Jared,

The Resin Obsession deep pour resin works great for a project like this. You can buy it in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-deep-pour-resin

Mix at least 3 ounces and pour no more than two inches at once.
