should you sand and polish any dust particles that appear on your project between layered pours. I’m using a layering technique and am finding that once the layers are cured there are particles on the surface and I don’t them to show through in the final product. Should I be sanding and polishing between every layer? Also if I’m trying to get perfect crystal clear layers to make one solid piece should I be warming the mold and putting down baby powder between each layer.

      Hi Bridget,

If there are imperfections in between layers that you don’t want to show, then yes, you will need to sand and polish in between layers.

You don’t want to use baby powder on your layers as that will show.
