      Hi there!
I have just completed an experiment with dipping wooden pendants in clear epoxy resin. They were hung to cure from a copper wire over parchment paper. Of course I forgot to factor in the possibility they’d adhere to the wire! Doh! Two questions: what should I do to remove them without marring the surface? And..What should I do to prevent this in the future? Many thanks for any help…

      Hi Zoe,

As you found out resin sticks to (almost) everything! I’m afraid you are going to have to cut the pendants away from the wire.

To keep this from happening in the future, this article will give you some ideas on what you can use: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-resin-resin/surfaces-resin-wont-stick-to/

Thank you! Perhaps I’ll just wrap the wire with a bit of packing tape. Or use a plastic string like beading cord. There were so many better options!
