This question comes through email by Jeanne:

I am starting to make jewelry with bezels. I bought several different types of glaze to try.  I am putting a photograph in the back of the bezel and filling it with liquid glaze.

I decided to test several of them in water to see how they held up and none of them resisted the water. The liquid became cloudy and soft and the photos were ruined.  All of them actually fell apart.

I tried sealing the photo with ModPodge.

So I need a suggestion for a resin or glaze that I can but that will resist water better.  What do you recommend?

I would prefer the type that isnt 2-part, but if those are the best, I will try them.
      Thanks for your assistance.

      Hi Jeanne,

Im afraid its pretty common for the one part resin glazes to dissolve in water.  If you need something thats waterproof, you will need to use a two part resin.  The Resin Obsession super clear resin holds up very well in water.  You can see how it does when it goes through a washing machine in a video on our youtube channel:

      Good luck!
