      This question comes from Maggie:

I’ve been looking for an answer about a problem I’m having with resin casting(cure for that matter)and I’ve found your blog.
It’s a bit unusual,a part of project is completely dry,but the other part is not..acctualy,the bottom is still liquid..and it’s the same mixture!
Now I’ve been working with resin for quite some time now,and this one in particular has given me so much touble ?.Could it be ot’s because of resin? But then none of the stuff wouldnt harden..
Is the temperature a problem? It gets a bit cold at night..but I still don’t understand how did one got cured, and the other didn’t..
I’ve also read about your advice on making a box with a light blub in it,will do it.
Thank you so much for your time, and I hope you can help me

      Hi Maggie,

I’m sorry to hear your resin is not curing well for you. I have a few questions:

      1. What are you casting the resin into?
      2. What kind/brand of resin are you using?
      3. Are you mixing anything into the resin?

You are correct in that when resin is cold, it may not cure properly. Here are some cold weather casting tips that may help you: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-resin-resin/resin-casting-in-cold-weather We have some other troubleshooting tips as well to help: https://www.resinobsession.com/tag/troubleshooting
