Hello! I am new to resin and have a question. I just made my first batch of heart-shaped pendants that I was (hopefully) going to give to a few friends. Everything went well with making the pendants and I was very happy with how they turned out; when I flipped them over to glue the bail on and do a final thin resin covering for the backside, however, that’s when things went south. I made four pendants— on one, I put what seemed like too little resin on the back and that ended up being the perfect amount. On the other three, I accidentally put too much and had small amounts of that resin overflow on to the front of the pendant.
What would be the best way to correct this? Can I lightly sand it off once it’s cured?
      Thanks for your help!!

      Hi Hillary,

If you can catch the resin when it is in the soft cure time, you can snap it off your pendant. You can see what I mean here: https://youtu.be/zTAYTBEQrkk

Otherwise, if your resin has cured, then yes, you can sand it off.
