I just recently switched to ArtResin epoxy for my tumblers. Since then I Have not been able to get the bottom edge of my cups to cover smoothly with epoxy. The very bottom will cover. And the wall of the tumbler. Just not that edge connecting them. I tried adding more resin to the wall and pushing it towards the edge, however that just leads to it bulking up as a wave right before the edge.
Do I need different epoxy? A different technique?

Hi Tiff,

It sounds like something is acting as a resist. Is your surface clean?

I clean my work space after each time I do a layer on the cup. One cup had glitter the other cup just had spray paint, for most recent ones. I’m not sure what I could use to “clean” the paint or glitter?

Try lightly sanding that surface to see if that helps.
