      Hello,

I’m really new at this and completely stumped. But my sister has asked me to make her some resin shakers. I normally make dry shakers (which look amazing! if i do say so myself lol) but she wants the oil kind. 90% of the time they turn out fine but for some reason some are not sealing 100 % and i’m getting a leak. Ive tried fixing it but it just doesn’t look right. lol debating if i should try just dipping the whole shaker in resin to seal it but not sure if thats a thing? any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have used one kind of epoxy resin and you don’t have enough for another layer of the same resin, is it possible to use another brand of epoxy resin on top?

Yes, provided the surface of the previous layer is clean and free of dirt and oils.
