      1. I want to make a crystal ball for a friend, and make pigments swirl together like smoke spiraling around in a ball. How do I do this? Do I have to wait until a layer is tacky first?

      2. Pigments. I can’t find much pigments around in canada. Can I use chalk pastels? They seem to work fine, but leave clumps of pigment sometimes. Would a mortal + pestal, or some sort of pill-grinder work to break them up?

      3. What should I clear coat my pieces with? I live in canada, so resin-branded things may be unavailable to me.

cyrstal ball is flat in a snowglobe base. It’s not even an inch thick
