So I’m trying to finish some gifts for friends and I’m working with UV resin Earrings/Jewelry pieces. I’ve sanded and sanded for hours going from 400 grit to 10,000 grit and then trying to polish them with the Flitz polish. I still have matt looking pieces. I thought I could seal them with a top coat like Krylon Clear Coat spray paint (It also is supposed to have a UV protectant) but, I think I did it wrong because after one coat my test earrings that were flat look like they now have the skin of an orange. So I’m lost. I don’t know what to do, if I should keep trying the spray clear coat, go to a brush on polyurethane, or just leave the pieces after sanding them?

Any help and recommendations would be great. Thank you in advance.
