Ok so this is a very basic question as I’ve just started experimenting with resin. Im using a silicone mold and my resin keep coming out cloudy and textured where its in contact with the mold. Is there something i can do to stop this from happening or a better material to use for the mold? Thanks 🙂

Hi Dove,

If the silicone mold wasn’t made from an item with a shiny surface, then castings from that mold aren’t going to be shiny either. You do have some options, however, to get a shiny surface.
