      This question comes from Jessica:

Hello! I am working on a new project, which consists of a need for a two part mold. My vision is to have the resin galaxy colored, or such with embedded flower petals inside. How would I go about that in a two part plaster mold? 🙂 Would love some helpful advice!

      Hi Jessica,

I’m not clear on what you want to do. Do you want to cast resin in a two part plaster mold?

Yes, I am looking to cast the resin in a two part plaster mold. I have done things where I put the objects i am encasing in the silicone molds, but that was only with a one part mold. Would I place the flowers in the mold and then pour, mix them in with the resin then pour, or place them in pour, and keep placing them as I pour~

Plaster molds do not work with resin. They are not flexible enough to release a casting.

Were you going to make the mold or do you have one already?
