Hi yall, Im just looking for some opinions on using gold (or any metal) leaf with resin, more specifically about using it on already finished resin pieces. I have some pendants I want to use as statement-piece necklaces but I want to finish the cabochons with some sort of metal, hence trying with the gold leaf. I purchased the basic adhesive that comes with the leaf, does anyone know if this will work on the resin? And also, what kind of sealant would be optimal to use with the resin and the gold lead as well? If anyone has any information Id really appreciate it, thanks so much!

      Elizabeth,

I dont have any experience using the gold leaf in this manner.  Im thinking some kind of sticky adhesive would be necessary to get the gold leaf to stay on the cabochon, then you would need to coat with some kind of sealer spray (like the resin gloss sealer spray we sell) to keep it from flaking or peeling.
