I was working on a wood/epoxy resin tray. I wanted to use a two color mica powder design. The tray was poured 3/4″ thick, 14″x14″ square.
i used a single pour of epoxy resin with a deep pour resin. I use 3 scoops of a blue mica powder for the main color. I then used a green color that
I drizzled into the blue. I then took a toothpick to make swirls in the green. Once all poured and swirled, it looked great. As the curing took place, the green color started to spread and dissipate. Over the next day or two, it was like no green color had been added at all. Once cured, you can see some green at the edge of the tray. I am a novice resin user and trying to figure out what might have caused this. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
