This question comes through email by Vicky:

I’ve had a browse through your website and it looks great! I’m currently in the planning stages of creating some resin jewellery and I just have one question I wondered if you could help me with…

I was hoping to make a small glitter resin mould and then pop this into another clear resin mould I would make. Would this work – resin in resin?

Thank you so much for any advice you can give!

      Hi Vicky,

Were you hoping to make a casting with resin and glitter, then put that completed casting into another resin casting? If so, the answer is yes. I would suggest making sure the first casting is completely cured first. It wouldn’t hurt either to make sure you do it with the same kind of resin both times. i.e. epoxy in epoxy, polyurethane in polyurethane, etc.
