      Sabrina,

Are they drilled or do that have a hole in the center?  If they are drilled, I would say to suspend them on a wax paper covered toothpick.  The resin will drip off the bead and will not stick to the wax paper.

If they’re not drilled, you could try the wax paper approach, but they will sit in a puddle.  I would probably use our resin gloss sealer spray instead.  Spray one side, then move them around, and spray again.  (Allow to dry in between layers.)

       Hi Kathrine,

Thank you.  Can you tell me if the resin spray will yellow overtime?  And Yes I am pre-drilling the holes in the clay.  So I will also try your suggestion and see how that works. 🙂
      Blessings,
      Sabrina

Can you help me with any tips or tricks on how to apply resin to a round clay bead?

I have never had a problem with the spray turning yellow.  I have used it on many jewelry pieces and am still happy with the results.
