So I used pro Marine table top epoxy. I made an oak serving tray. We use hot glue to put down trinkets, pictures, etc inside. My daughter painter some flowers and then I poured it about 1/2″ thick. Carefully measured, mixed well. Got almost 100% of the bubbles out. When it started curing, it looks like absolute garbage now. Created lots of bubbles and ripples on the underneath side near the wood surface. Bad ripples on the surface. I’d like to show someone a photo. This project is absolutely ruined and I apparently have no idea what I’m doing. Any one want to help me out?

Did this ever get answered? I want to make a keepsake for my future Son-In-Law with one of his mementos from West Point. I have practiced very carefully mixing and pouring into a mold, but the end result looks very wavy and rippled on the surface. not smooth. What did I do wrong?
