I have a memorial garden bench with glass mosiac tiles set in cement/concrete. I would like to protect this from the elements. Where I live we have a freeze/thaw cycle and it can be humid in the summer months. The bench is too heavy to move in and out each season. The bench only gets sun in the morning as it is near the house. It has a resin wood (trex) frame around it with a small lip. I am thinking casting or would doming be better? Which would be the best resin for an outdoor application? Thank you

Hi Jenni, I’m afraid resin isn’t a good choice for a project like this. It’s going to expand and contract with the weather and will likely crack at some point.
