Hi!

I want to mix nanoparticles into epoxy resign. As epoxy resign has a relativly high viscosity (i know there are resigns with lower viscosity, but they are still high compared to water), it’s very difficult to dispergate nanoparticles in it. It would be easier to dispergate these nanoparticles in water, oil or alcohol and then afterwards mix it with the epoxy resign. So my question is: Which liquid would be suitable for this case? I know that even a few drops of water result in a cloudy look of the resign, which i don’t want. Color pigments for epoxy are often oil-based, so maybe oil could be suitable? Does anyone have experience with mixing oil into epoxy? Or any other kind of liqiuid?
