I am doing basically a shadowbox with different layers of fabrics and papers that are all woven on top of each other, with a few layers of resin inbetween for a 3D effect. I need to glue the layers/ pieces together so they don’t shift around when I pour resin on top. I’m using Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast. What type of glue should I use? And what happens to fabric if you don’t seal it first? I’m fine with sealing if I have to, just curious.

      Hi Jenny,

As long as your glue is fully dry before pouring resin, it won’t impact the curing or clarity. This is the one I recommend: https://shop.resinobsession.com/products/ultra-seal-sealant-and-glue

If you don’t seal the fabric before using it with resin, it can take up moisture stains and change colors.
