This question comes through email by Marie:

      Hi !
I am really happy that i found you.
I need someone that knows well resin.

      I have a specific question.

If a clear resin jewellery is gonna turn to yellow, will we see it in the 1-2 first year after purchasing it ?
I ask this as a tip, as a buyer. I saw local jewellery here. It looks very nice. The designer told me that she does the resin jewellery since 2 years and she did not see difference in the tint (no yellow). Can i trust ?

Thank you very much! Your answer will be very helpful for me!

      Hi Marie,

Not all resins are created equal when it comes to staying clear.  Assuming the resin is a crystal clear, jewelry quality resin to start with, it will certainly stay clearer much longer than a resin that isnt designed for jewelry.  The more exposure a cured piece of resin has to UV light, the more likely it is to yellow with time.  However, in my experience, I find this yellowing is very slight and usually not anything that the majority of people would notice if it was a good quality resin to start with.
