Is there any paint brush you could recommend? Would a sponge brush work well? June 13, 2016 at 9:35 pm #5778 Katherine SwiftKeymaster Hi Diana, I generally use one of our stir stix (http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/resin-obsession-stir-stix-stirstix-plastic-paddles) to apply the resin, then spread it out over the casting like using a spatula to spread frosting on a cake. If you were going to try a brush, I would try something with coarse bristles that won’t pull out easily when working with the resin. Something like what you see here: http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/reusable-plastic-mixing-cups-with-mixing-utensils. A sponge brush might work, but I highly doubt you would be able to reuse it because I don’t know how you would ever get all the resin out of it. 🙂 Author Posts Viewing 1 reply thread The topic ‘Brushes used in applying resin’ is closed to new replies.
