Scratches in mold

Hi, I have one of the coaster molds from you and didn’t realize how easy it is for them to get scratched when rearranging objects around inside it!
Is there a way to salvage the mold or put something in it so the scratch marks don’t come out on my coasters?

Hi Davina,

I’m sorry to hear your mold scratched. Unfortunately, that can be one of the downsides of using soft plastic for molds. While there isn’t a way to fix the mold itself, if the scratch isn’t deep, you can fix it in the castings by coating the surface with another layer of mixed resin.
