Hi everyone! I’m pretty new to using epoxy / resin for crafting.

My local small zoo has several educational signs for different animals that are typically 12”x18” or similar size. Most of them are in poor condition due to weathering and I would like to make and donate new signs to them. The text and images I can recreate with sufficient proficiency; I’m just unsure how to then best print that and apply an epoxy layer (I’m thinking maybe 8-10mm thickness or more?) to the printed card.

What do you guys think? What would be some good resources to use to get started on a project like this?

      Thanks everyone ❤️

      Hi Jesse,

How thoughtful that you want to make new signs for your zoo. Awesome!

Unfortunately though, I don’t think you’re going to be happy with the results long term. All resins will yellow with time, especially with constant UV light exposure.
