Questions

I am a beginner who has done resin twice and lots of questions came while I was doing it, that I couldn’t find the answer to on google. The first time, I made a bracelet and a ball but since I just filled it 5/6 of the way, it had a hole. Do I pour the resin all the way to the top of the mold right before it spills out? Since The next time, I poured it all the way but I spilled it and it got around the outside of mold so I’m afraid when it sets, it will have that part attached to the jewellery. Is it okay for me to just wipe it with an paper towel even if it lives a little residue?
