 Hi,

Im wondering how aluminum holds up in polyester resin?

Im looking to put just a piece of a cut up coke can in. 

Is it something I should coat first?

Hi Keir,

The aluminum can should do fine.  It wont take up water stains if it gets wet, so it  should cast well in any kind of resin.
