I am a total noob to resin, and am still waiting for all of my supplies to be delivered before I have my first go at it!

Anyway, I would definitely like to try embedding fabric in some of my projects, and was wondering what is the recommended sealer I should use.
I already have Mod Podge (not the fabric kind, just regular), acrylic sealer spray, and polyurethane spray  – which do you think would work best?  Im leaning towards the poly spray, provided it wont react poorly with the resin.
Ive seen some gorgeous trims with sequins, embroidery, etc. that I would love to embed, and I feel like the Mod Podge would be goopy and hard to apply evenly to such textured pieces.

      Hi Lisa,

I would suggest trying the Mod Podge on some and the acrylic spray on others.  The Mod Podge will leave a thicker coating, which may or may not make it more difficult for you to use.  Be sure to use two coats, and maybe three.  Also be sure your edges are well coated too.
