Can a finsihed resin piece go in the pickle?

      Say you made a silver piece with a bezel, then but your resin piece into it that you had made into a cabachon shape. You would push sand and file. But say you decided you wanted to solder something else on the piece, would the resin jewelry piece melt if you had to pickle it and can you put it into the ultra sonic cleaner"

      Hi Catherine,

      First, it is very unlikely that the resin would survive the heat of the soldering torch.  Assuming it did, I would also expect the pickle to etch the surface of the resin.  As for an ultrasonic cleaner, I dont have any experience with using that to clean jewelry pieces with resin in them.  If you use it, let us know how it works!
