What do you mean by press my flowers? I fill them to the very top, they are on the brink of overflowing.

This question comes through email by Katie:

Im very new at resin jewelry. I think my mixing is probably not right, I watched your video and realized that. But when I pop them out of there silicon molds the ends are chipped. Like the flowers I made, the petals are chipped. How can I fix this?

      Katie,

I would say you probably just underfilled your mold a smidge.  I would refill the mold with a bit of resin, press in your flowers, and add more resin (or clean up the overflow) if necessary.

By press, I mean place your flowers into the mold.

If the tips looked chipped, its because resin didnt get into the right places.  If youre sure they mold overflowed, then when you pour next time, you need to be sure resin gets into all the crevices of the mold.  Use a toothpick or stir stick to guide the resin if necessary.
