      Hi there

Working on a client build that has me scratching my head a little. They want an epoxy River dining table (not my first) but the epoxy will be semi-opaque with embedded glass and glitter to make it sparkle.

The easy option is to bust up some glass bottles and test a few batches. But I feel as though this is a non-starter due to the glass chunks dissapearing in the epoxy (are refractive indices of both pretty close?) . I could use silver reflective mica flakes but she specifically requested glass in the mix.

Will be using deepmpour epoxy, final depth of 2”, but plan to do a 3/4” white opaque base layer, then 1.25” of clear with the embedded items on too.

      Thanks for any insight!
