Hey RO!  I was wondering, what are some of the different ways to achieve a more frosted look for my resin?  Im looking to get a more semi-opaque frosted glass appearance that is very similar to sea glass.  Unfortunately, the resin/molds I use right now produce a fantastic clear ice appearance, which isnt exactly what Im looking for in this particular project.  Are there powders I can include when I cast my resin?  Or is using a spray of some sort better?

      Thanks for your time!

      Nikki,

A couple of things to try:

      1.  Sand with sandpaper somewhere in the 400 to 800 grit range.  Practice with a couple of pieces first to see what you like.

      2.  You can try some of our powder colorants.  They give a mostly translucent effect to the resin, similar to sea glass.  https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/colorants/Powder  You wont need much — again, experiment first.
